Posting this today since there isn’t a Bills game. So all you wonderful Bills fans out there have something to do this afternoon! : )
No, I’m not usually a wedding photographer but in the case of this wonderful couple I bent the rules and changed hats for the day. Rachel grew up down the street from where my family and I live. Dan grew up near Rochester. They met the old fashioned way… at a bar. They fell in love, got engaged, got a dog, and got hitched. Simple, right? When they asked me to photograph their wedding ceremony I thought, pre-wedding (dress, makeup, bridesmaids crying), ceremony (church, priest, flowers), post wedding (family pictures, a garden, maybe a fun location or two) then lastly, the reception (dinner, dancing, and a toast or two). Ahhh, I said, not a problem. It should be really fun with this young, beautiful couple! I never expected THIS after their ceremony!
Yes, we ended up at The Ralph!!! I took my shoes off and rubbed my toes in the turf. That is appropriate at work, right? Anyone jealous of my job now? He, he, he, yes it does get REALLY fun sometimes. Rachel and Dan are such a great couple. We had a million different great shots during the post ceremony photo session and these are just a few of my favorites. Ralph Wilson Stadium wasn’t the only fun location for this wedding party just wait till you see where else we ended up with this crew. This whole wedding got me thinking… if I were to get married again, to Mike of course, where would I go for post ceremony pictures?
