1It didn’t start off as a beautiful day…   In photographers terms the conditions were particularly challenging.  The wind was coming from one direction, the bright sunshine from the other, no shady trees or buildings to protect us from the harsh environment and it was muddy.   Plus, it was NOT warm when I stepped out of the car. I had never met this family before but knowing they had two small children I thought for sure our time together was limited.  I couldn’t have been more wrong!  The children were wonderful they held it together for a full hour and a half of shooting!  I couldn’t believe it!  No meltdowns, no complaints, just smiles. The little guy brought his helicopter along just in case he had the opportunity to fly it around.  We ran up the hills, down the hills, giggled, laughed and stayed warm and relatively mud free. It was fabulous!  I love some of the images we captured that day.  They were all beautiful and so great to work with!67 4 56 111
