Fun, amusing, enjoyable, entertaining, goofy, charismatic, not to mention creative, kind, lively, energetic…. brilliant…. I could just go on forever. To narrow Dominique’s personality to one word is next to impossible. She was fab to work with. We started our senior portrait session at Buffalo Riverworks, If you haven’t been to visit the facility yet that just means you’re out of the loop in the Buffalo waterfront scene. They’ve got Roller Derby, places to dock your boat and a great restaurant. Next we visited the Cobblestone District near First Niagara Center. I love the abandon buildings, brick walls contrasted with the beautiful flowing skirt that Dominique choose to wear.
We finished up this amazingly creative senior session with a visit to Silo City. Again, if you haven’t been there- go! Here’s a little brief on what you’d see if you went on a tour:
“At ground level, experience the monumental scale of the grain elevators constructed in Buffalo in the first half of the twentieth century, and also see how they are now being repurposed. On this guided walk around the grounds of Silo City, you will enter the ground floor work areas of a flour mill, two grain elevators, and a malthouse.”
To photograph there was AMAZING to say the least and totally fit in with Dominque’s bff guitar. : )
Thank you for a wonderful portrait session! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
xoxo,
Erin
